Scout Out A Potential Stratford CT Neighborhood’s Walkabilty

Here’s an awesome tool that I found online today! If you are thinking of buying a house in Stratford CT or anywhere else in the country, there is a good chance you are not positive about what exactly the neighborhood has in store for you. This online tool will give you an idea.

If you’re a walker or even are thinking about walking a bit to save some gas than this tool is definitely for you. All you have to do is put in your current address or the address of a home you are thinking about buying and hit enter.

Let’s use my neighborhood in Stratford CT as an example. I put in my address and hit enter. This tool calculates local neighborhood points of interest that are within walking distance from my house. There are grocery stores, coffee shops, parks, the list goes on and on.

According to this tool there are lots of places to walk to from my house in Stratford that are under a mile. There are lots more that are between one and two miles and even more that are outside of the radius from my home that I am willing to walk.

Now there’s a drawback to this Stratford neighborhood walking tool that they are working on. They currently calculate distances by drawing a straight line from point A to point B. Naturally, when walking on streets your walk will be longer.
