Enjoy Bridgeport Bluefish Baseball At Harbor Yard

How To Save Money and Show The Kids A Good Time at Bridgeport Bluefish Ballgames

Baseball games played at Harbor Yard are an inexpensive option. If you have not been a spectator of Bridgeport Bluefish baseball yet,

“What’s stoppin’ ya?”

Honestly, my kids love it and tickets are cheap. Dirt cheap when compared to watching the Yankees in The Bronx. There is not a bad seat in the house to see the game from.

Money Saving Tip: You can purchase “B.B. Bucks” at local AAA offices. They are 15% percent off of face value. You can buy $10 worth of B.B. Bucks to spend on concessions at the ballgame for $8.50.

They constantly run kid friendly promotions. Looking at their website my favorite upcoming freebie is on deck. It’s the baseball card giveaway and it’s always a home run with the kids. Every night free Bluefish t-shirts are thrown into the crowd. I know my kids go nuts trying to get the guy to throw them a shirt. Fireworks are a big hit too with most kids. Harbor Yard has a fireworks display after every home game.

B.B. the Bluefish and Cap’n L.I. Sounder are the Bluefish official team mascots. My kids love B.B. the Bluefish. He comes in the stands for pictures and hugs every game.

Sitting through nine innings of baseball can cause the young ones to get restless. The “Kids Cove” creates a distraction for kids to get out of there seats and playing. It’s just beyond right field and you will be able to see it from your seats. We felt that the Kids Cove was a little lacking next year but the kids enjoyed it and that’s what is important.

Tomorrow I will share with you how to get free passes to Beardsley Zoo .
